Partner Acrobatics with Bassili

All infos on the Acro Yoga Workshop
On 24 November, we will be hosting an Acro Yoga workshop with Bassili. Acro Yoga is a form of partner acrobatics that combines strength and body control with mindfulness and trust in each other - a mix of acrobatics and yoga in which you perform and combine tricks with a partner or in a group.
When: 24 November, 2:00 to 4:00 pm
Where: 1st Floor Studio, Prenzlauer Promenade 189
Limited spots and suitable for all levels!
Workshop Contents
In this two-hour workshop, after a warm-up on the floor with preliminary exercises, you will learn the basics and all three roles (flyer, base and spotter). We will work in small groups on various partner tricks, which can then be linked together. Of course, all with safe spotting and adapted to your level. We then dive deeper into the practice:
- How does the flyer take care of the base and vice versa?
- How do I take fear and give safety
- Where is the centre of gravity?
About Bassili
Bassili draws his inspiration from experiences and knowledge in circus acrobatics and meditation techniques and has a strong background in a variety of dance forms such as Contemporary, Ballet and Embodied Research. He has been dancing since 2017 and started a professional dance career in 2020. In 2019 he discovered Acro Yoga for himself.
