Welcome to the IMA Intentional Movement Academy! We offer a range of courses in stretching, contortion, handstand, acrobatics, as well as aerial hammock and hoop. Our team consists of former and active artists and dedicated trainers, who pass on their knowledge to you with enthusiasm.
In principle, anyone over the age of 16 can participate in our classes. (For younger acrobats we offer courses in aerial acrobatics at the Katakids ).
Otherwise, we believe that no one is too old or too unathletic to benefit from our courses and improve their skills. No matter if you are a beginner or a professional, come by and let us inspire you with our enthusiasm for flexibility and acrobatics.
Go to our Schedule and choose your class. If you are booking for the first time, you need to register with our booking system Eversports.
In each class you will see the corresponding products that you can book the class with. For your first class you can choose the trial lesson here. Pay for the class with credit card, PayPal, or direct debit.
Since we deliberately want to keep our courses small, the spots per class are very limited. Therefore, it is necessary to reserve your spot in advance via our booking tool Eversports here on the website or in the Eversports App . (There are several payment options available to you.) This also allows your instructor to better prepare for you and the class. If you are already a customer of ours, you can pay cash up to 15 minutes before the class as an exception, as long as there is still a seat available.
You can change or cancel your booking yourself up to 24 hours before the start of the course in your customer account here on the website under Schedule or in the Eversports app and will then receive the credit back to your customer account. In the app, you can still cancel the booking after the 24-hour period to free up your spot for someone else. However, the credit will not be refunded in this case.
We ask for your understanding that we cannot make any exceptions to this rule. Since we only offer very few spots and want to keep the prices low for everyone, we depend on all spots in the course to be paid for.
If the class is fully booked, you will be informed that you can put yourself on the waiting list. As soon as a spot becomes available, you will receive a message via the app. IMPORTANT: You must have the app installed and the notifications turned on there! No e-mail will be sent! You can download the app for Apple or Android here.
Currently there are classes with open level, for beginners and for advanced. These are listed in the course schedule. If you are unsure, please e-mail us at hello@ima-studio.de or choose a beginner level for your first lesson. Your instructor will let you know when you can attend a higher level.
For our flexibility classes we recommend clothing that keeps you warm. Especially the back and the legs should be protected during the training with appropriate clothing.
For our aerial classes, tight-fitting training clothes are advantageous and they should cover especially the armpits and the back of the knees.
You do not need training shoes, but in the colder months socks can help so that you don't cool down so quickly.
All our block cards have a validity period of 3 months. In exceptional cases, e.g. due to short-term illness, the term can be extended. In this case write us an e-mail to hello@ima-studio.de.

You can find all membership options on our website and in the Eversports app under PRICES. When you book a class, you will also be offered the matching membership options.

The contract begins with the booking of the membership, lasts for 3 months and is renewed thereafter every month, if no cancellation is made, for another month.
As a contract member you get 10% discount on private lessons and access to the membership area in our IMA Community Space at Discord. There you can exchange with trainers and other trainers and get helpful information & tips for your training.
You'll also find additional training videos and useful guides, and you can occasionally attend workshops for free.
Pausing the membership is unfortunately not possible. But usually it's not necessary, because you can collect your credits during vacation or short-term illness and redeem them at a later time, or you can cancel your contract at any time due to the short minimum term.
You can cancel your membership monthly after expiration of the minimum term online via your Eversports profile on our website, or in the Eversports app; always up to 1 month before the end of the current contract month.
