Special Class: Flying Pole Sept. 30
Weightless, dynamic, and full of expressiveness—in flying pole, the pole is not fixed to the floor but hangs from the ceiling. This allows it to rotate, swing, and even sway as you move with it. The combination of aerial acrobatics and pole dance opens up new dimensions: swings, spins, and flowing transitions between dance and acrobatics.
In this 90-minute special class, Lea will introduce you to the magic of flying pole and combine dance with spectacular pole and aerial artistry. The special is for anyone who already has pole experience and wants to learn new aerial elements and creative moves.

About Lea
Lea Fierke is a pole acrobat and dancer. In her artistry, she combines various dance styles with pole dance. Weightless and expressive at the same time, she performs either as a solo artist or in a duet with her partner Evelyn Weinzettl. As a teacher, she has worked at the former IVA Berlin and passed on her experience to many young artists, e.g. at Cirque du Soleil, GOP Varieté Hannover, and the Karlsruhe State Theater.

Welcome Siona
Our colleague and friend Katja has decided to give up her Stretching Intensive Splits class on Wednesdays so that she can devote more time to her own training alongside her full-time job. We would like to thank her for her fantastic teaching and are delighted that she will remain with us as a substitute teacher.
From October onwards, Siona will be taking over the class, and we warmly welcome her to the team!

About Siona
Siona has been passionately devoted to yoga since 2015. In 2022, she expanded her practice by attending contortion classes at the IMA, which made her an enthusiastic student of this form of movement. She is fascinated by the possibilities of movement and exploring the space within her own body. She completed her training as a certified yoga and flexibility teacher in 2025 and is now excited to share her passion with you.

💬 Still got questions?
How does the payment system with the credits work?
With our IMA credits, you can book all classes, workshops and trainings fairly and flexibly. Choose between credit packages or a credit membership and design your training just the way you want it!
IMA Credits offer you maximum flexibility: you only need ONE card or membership that you can use for ALL classes, training sessions and workshops. You pay different amounts of credits depending on the category. The bigger your package, the cheaper your training will be.
Which classes are particularly suitable for beginners in aerial acrobatics?
We offer special Intro classes for Aerial Hoop and Aerial Silks for beginners with no previous experience, in which you will first build up strength, learn the basics, and get a feel for the equipment. Once you are ready, you can move on to the Beginner classes. No Intro class is required for Trapeze and Aerial Hammock, so you can participate in the classes even without any previous experience.
Have you always wanted to try aerial but aren't sure what suits you best? Then our All Aerial class with Zinnia is just the thing for you! Here you can try out different aerial acrobatics props before deciding on one.
Do you offer Open Training?
Yes! In Open Training, you can repeat what you have learned in class independently without a teacher. You use our equipment and usually have 90 minutes for your training.
Our Open Training is available for members and package holders of the IMA. M & L members can use their contract credits for this. S Members or holders of credit packages can purchase Open Training credits.
